For some reason,I am having a tough time navigating this board, although I'm sure it's better. I just haven't figured it all out yet.

I will work backwards on this. I have used POW! with Win98 and WinXP. It will work with Netscape and IE. It is available from http://www.analogx.com/
It is free, and it will require my intervention at the beginning , but it has worked very faithfully. There other ad killer which may be liked by others a lot. I, personally, found flaws in all of them. You should also have Adaware from
http://www.lavasoft.com/ .It will take care of spyware. But you may be the cause of junk mail, if you dutifully select to receive information when downloading some software. You may, actually, see a pattern, and it is hard to break the cycle. You should not asked to be removed from a list, unless it is a reputable company. There are massive mailings, which are sent to to anyone with an email address similar to yours. If they try enough combinations they will hit right. I have been able to minimize the damage by using three different address with three different domains, and I am using a Mail Notification utility where I have mainly the headers, and I can check all my addresses at once, and delete mail from the server, before I go into the real mail. It is like screening phone calls. Annoying yes, but it beats trying to talk your way out of a conversation. Or getting manifold number of calls because
they realize that they got a live one.
Cookie crusher is unnecessary. But,there is no law which says that you have to keep the cookies. They will come up with the site which you visited, and not because you had a sweet tooth. I delete the cache, periodically, and from Windows Explorer/Windows/Cookies I delete them all. They will come back.
Good luck.

Antony wrote:Fulvio,
In this new forum, you don't need to add < or > for the urls, it will be automatically parsed.
Also, you can use the buttom to create URLs, if you have problem, you might want to read the BBCode link (on the left) when you post.
Thanks.

But,it is good to be able to edit, and correct. I like the emoticons.
