Airline food is not usually what one would normally eat if one had a choice. Family traveled to Australia in 2000. Food was definitely not what we would have ordered. We got the really nifty chocolate that the airline sold for gifts  On flights within the states, usually given peanuts and a half glass of soda-pop

British fashion? Sorry, devilish disparaging comment on the fashion sense of tweeds, I guess.

No offense meant, hopefully, none taken. I copied and pasted, thought they were kind of cute.

Patchdog and Antony:

I guess you'd have to walk the streets of London to understand that bit about "British fashion" being an oxymoron.
I have.
And it is.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy the hell out of enough people to make it worth the effort.

You forgot one of the best oxymorons, and I just saw it on a bumpersticker:

So have I -- a number of times, actually. I'm afraid I still don't really understand why "British Fashion" is an oxymoron.
