Trying to download an old netscape

hi..... i'm trying to download one of the old netscape browsers from the browser archive. i want the oldest linux version i can find.........but it's asking for a login & password.

is this available?

I am not sure what you want, but, most likely you are not logged in this website. Since you are not saying, specifically, what you want,, I am not sure if there is anything else. But, if I login the newsgroups, I can also get the downloads, but, if I log off, and, then try to get a download, it is a no go.

Please use your FTP client to access ftp://ftp.sillydog.org/pub, if promoted with login, simply use connect as Guest will do.

The oldest Netscape browser for Linux would be Netscape 4, I may (may not) have older Netscape browser for Linux on my CD collection since I don't use Linux.

cheers Antony, that did the trick.

i wanted the old linux netscape, as there are a few people interested in trying it on the puppy linux forum, after i posted netscape 9.

if you have an even older one, i would definately be interested
