I create a page layout using a table, and when view in communicator 4.8
all the cells get white borders..
any work around? in IE it looks great.

Add the "border=o" to the TABLE tag

You should add

to the TABLE tag
(zero, not letter "o")

Did you apply specified styles in NN 4.8?
