Is Netscape Mail client still useable?

Is Netscape Mail client still useable?

Hi Everyone,


I currently use thunderbird for my email client but its just really not my cup of tea and I am wonder can the NETSCAPE MAIL client still be used for email ONLY and I can be happy with it or ??

Usable, yes. Secure, no.

So in the end, yes it is usable but I highly recommend against it.

In theory, no crook will touch Netscape, as very few people use it, but Netscape has not been updated in any way, for two years. Why take a chance?
As for Thunderbird, v.3.x is the worst thing I ever saw, but 2.0.0.24 is, still, secure. Will the Mozilla people continue supporting a sorry excuse for a program remains to be seen.
I am going to post, separately, on the fun encountered setting up an account in 3.x.
