In theory, no crook will touch Netscape, as very few people use it, but Netscape has not been updated in any way, for two years. Why take a chance?
As for Thunderbird, v.3.x is the worst thing I ever saw, but 126.96.36.199 is, still, secure. Will the Mozilla people continue supporting a sorry excuse for a program remains to be seen.
