Modifying Firefox search plugins

Has the code for tweaking search plugins for more results per page changed for Google, Ixquick, and Startpage? I had all of those modified to give me 100 results, but the response to those codes in Firefox has changed. With Startpage, depending on what word I searched, I was getting from 50 to 63 hits, and now am getting 40 to 55. With Startingpage with the same modification, I get only 20 hits. Google plugin modified used to give me 100 hits, but now with Google Canada the extra code is being removed from the search and with Google classic, the code is still in there but is being ignored. So what do you do now to get 100 results per page with Google and Startpage/Ixquick? What about Startingpage?
