Now, this is interesting. According to Wired, the Department of Homeland Security has requested that Mozilla to remove an add-on that allows web surfers to access websites whose domain names were seized by the US government. Mozilla refused to comply blindly, instead demanded an explanation from the US Government. (For this part, I praise Mozilla.)

After two weeks, no responses from the US Government, and no court order either.

The add-on in question redirects traffic from those domains seized by the US Government to other domains which many of them are not under the control of the United States Government.
