Numbering Question

Postby geffr » Wed 09 Nov, 2011 12:02 pm

From the pov of an end user (me), both 7 & 8 seem pretty similar to 6. Is the numbering change because they really are that different, or to keep up with MS & Opera?

Stupid tactic on pushing users to the latest. Trying to make users feel bad when version 8 is out and users are still on version 3 or 4-something.

All versions are pretty much alike. I stick to 3.6.24 ( I guess it was updated to parallel 8.0). I am using each version with a different profile, in particular different bookmark selections, but discard any old version, when my Desktop is getting too cluttered.
