Bl**dy unfair! Double standards! But finally.
A group of open-source (extremists) pushing for the latests version they seem fit to end users, and yet dropping 5 years old Mac OS Tiger support for Mac users while supporting Windows 2000 for 12 years for Windows users!
Now, back to Windows 2000 itself. It is still a great OS for pure (offline) work environment in my opinion. No fancy interfaces, great for running Windows-only applications under virtual machines which does not require fancy graphics or internet connection. I still have a copy of Windows 2000 virtual machine running one Windows only application. Oh, I am old schooled.
