Postby 1187MR » Wed 09 Dec, 2009 8:03 am

I am going to install SeaMonkey 1.1 on an older Mac and need help exporting my Netscape 7.2 email & address books and bringing them into SeaMonkey. Any help or walk through will be greatly appreciated.

After you install SeaMonkey, it should offer the importing dialogue when you first start it.

Have you tried using the importing tool it provided?

Thanks for the reply, I have not installed SM yet. So it will prompt upon launching, to import Netscape profiles, settings, etc. ? Do you think it wise to back up the mail / address books just in case? Any trick on this?

Recall from my memory, it does, on the first launch.

It is always a good idea to back up profiles. I can't think of any tricks.
