Office 2016 for Mac released

Microsoft has launched Office 2016 for Mac, first available to Office 365 subscription customers. The new versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoiont, Outlook and OneNote provide the best of both worlds for Mac users, and are designed for Mac.

Like the new iWork, Office 2016 is cloud-connected, so users can get the documents recently worked on another device to continue to work... (To some of us, it sounds like the Continuity concept in OS X Yosemite 10.10).

Office 2016 for Mac take and integrate with Mac's Full Screen view, Multi-Touch gestures as well as full Retina display support.

Office 2016 for Mac is currently available for Office 365 subscription customer. Office 2016 for Mac will become available as a one-time purchase option this September
