AU internet piracy case, ISP wins

For those who follow the internet piracy case in Australia, last year, a group of 34 movie studios filed a court cast against ISPs (mainly iiNet) for failing to prevent illegal file sharing by its customers. In plain words, instead of charging individual offenders, the movie studios wanted to make a profit from the ISPs.

iiNet won the first cast (lower court), iiNet just won again at the Federal court (appeal).

The movie studios can file another appeal at the High Court within 28 days. (Sorry Don, we don't call it US supreme court here.)

I do not know what is happening in Australia, but in Europe, I understand that the next most probable target after PirateBay is Google. Because, after all, if go into Google Advanced Search and search on a music or video term with the term "torrent" tons of illegal stuff will come up.
