Adobe ends Flash development on mobile devices

Postby Antony » Wed 09 Nov, 2011 2:46 am

According to ZDNet report, Adobe informed developers that the company has stopped developing Flash for mobile devices (browsers on mobile). Adobe will focus its development efforts on:
applications for mobile, expressive content on desktop, and increasing in HTML5 support.

It is worth noting that the late Steve Jobs once reasoned why Apple does not want Flash on their popular mobile devices (iPod touch, iPhone and iPad) not long after announcing their first generation iPad which has been a popular device since.
