The App Store reached the historic milestone of 25 billion application downloads early today. Apple will announce the winner of the $10,000 App Store gift card.
Apple has complied a list of top 25 all-time paid apps and top 25 all-time free apps. For paid apps, the top 5 are:
1) Angry Bird,
2) Fruit Ninja,
3) Doodle Jump,
4) Cut the Rope,
5) Angry Bird Seasons
For free apps, the top 5 list are:
1) Facebook,
2) Pandora Radio,
3) Words with Friends (Free)
4) Skype,
5) The Weather Channel.
Apple held a similar countdown to the 10 billionth App Store download last year and reached the milestone on 22 January, 2011.
