Today I decided to try a few things to see if I could speed up my computer. The first thing I did was uninstall Norton Sec. Suite 2012 and replace it with MSE 2 along with activating the Windows 7 firewall. The second thing I did was to enable IE 9 (for the time being). Just those two changes and my computer is running like it was brand-spanking new. I cannot believe how quickly it boots, loads pages and is just overall responsive. Later I'll try running FF 11 with this changed security but in the meantime, I'm liking this very much.

Good to know that you make your computer running faster. I am guessing removing Norton Security Suite alone could speed up your computer significantly.
