Making the middle panel scroll

Postby c64web » Fri 24 Oct, 2008 11:39 pm

Good day new here so please let me know if i do something not allowed
so i can change it :)

I run a website for commodore 64/128 and vic20 user.

On cbm8bit.com web page i would love to get the middle to scroll so the left and right
stay still while the middle can scroll down.

This to me has been a battle as i have little knowledge of html or php and spent many hours
goggling the answer and trial and error.

My site is cbm8bit.com could someone have a look at the code and let me know how
this would be done. :)

Thanks in advance for any help.

I just take a look at your website, and isn't it already performing what you wanted? The middle section can be scrolled while the left and right frame stay the same.

Thanks for looking at it.

I spent somemore time working on it and learned a little more about iframes. :0

the middle is now loaded into a iframe i saved the whole middle html as middle.php
and loaded it into a iframe.

not sure if this is the best way but it works. :)

Did you managed to have a look at c64web.com she runs from a real commodore 64 built in 1982. :)

Have Fun Shane

As long as it works to the way you wanted, it is all good.
