It is great being able to install what I want (no servers!) instead of the installation program installing what it thinks you want and I did not have to reformat my /home partition so everything that was in there (including my SeaMonkey installation) should be intact.
This took 45 minutes to install on my Pentium (166 MHz!) system, as opposed to the 3 1/2 hours that SuSE took and if it runs just as fast as it installed, then I think Mandriva will have converted me to their Linux.
