Mandriva Linux 2009 Released

Mandriva, S.A. has released Mandriva Linux 2009.

A new desktop environment, LXDE - Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment, is now available with Mandriva Linux 2009 as an additional desktop environment that can be installed after the initial installation. I have installed LXDE on both my ThinkPad laptop and K6-2 CPU desktop, it runs quite well and is very fast.

I couldn't get Mandriva to install. :(

Not sure why, but the Live CD wouldn't load.
