Connecting to router

Postby butty » Thu 05 Apr, 2007 2:24 am

Hi
I have a graphite G4 which is now running OS X. As far as iam aware it has not been connected to the net before.
I have a D link router currently being used for wireless connection for a PC. Can i connect my G4 to this router and what extras do i need to either (1) a wire connection (cheapest?) or (2) wireless connection.
Cheers
Butty

I don't know much about the G4 model you have, but if it has an Ethernet port on the back, then the cheapest option would be to get a sufficiently long Ethernet cable and run it to wherever the D-link router is (provided your D-link router has Ethernet capability). If it doesn't, you'd need a USB adapter for either Ethernet or Wi-Fi, depending on which you're looking at.
