in my house i have got 3 computers 2 running off wireless for the internet and one that is plugged directly into the back of the router. When using the internet computer that is plugged directly into the the router, if someone goes on the other wireless comptuers and goes on the internet the wireless computer completely steals all the internet signal from the other computer. Why is this and how can i fix it.

A few years ago I had this problem. Well, actually my Aunt and Uncle did.

The problem usually stems from the wireless being the primary use of the router so therefore it will put more effort into providing a stronger signal.

My Fix:
I simply went out and bought a splitter. Split the signal 5 ways. One cord going to the dedicated Ethernet computer, and one of them going to the wireless router. Seemingly, no problems have been present since.

that worked good i had a 5 way split router that i put in line before the wireless router and i seem to have decent speeded internet on all my computers thank you much
