Two important Extensions for Chrome

Postby richard mitnick » Sun 13 Jun, 2010 6:15 pm

Two extensions I felt i needed, available at https://chrome.google.com/extensions?hl=en-US
Autocomplete=On - This substitutes for Roboform in helping me with my laziness about remembering user id's and password.

Tabs to the front - in its native state, Chrome opens new tabs from clicks in the rear. But I found this extension which works to have them open on top in the front.

And, BTW, I then went through the pages and pages of extensions and found nothing of any value to me.

I would have to add AdBlock to this. And the AdBlock button extension to the list.

1: https://chrome.google.com/extensions/de ... idom?hl=en

2: Browser button for AdBlock:
https://chrome.google.com/extensions/de ... ooof?hl=en

I consider AdBlock essential no matter what browser I use. Main reason I don't use Safari or Internet Explorer.

Definitely Adblock and for me I would add LastPass. It's a great extension that duplicates for free, everything that Roboform will do and then some. I never have to remember any of my passwords which are different for all the sites I log into and are remembered for FF, Chrome and IE8. Evidently LastPass also works with SeaMonkey although I do not have that browser/suite.

Last Pass is I believe web based, so that would leave me out.
