Chrome and Quick Time

Here's the issue:

I can play podcasts with QT on FF, Safari and Opera and advance the video by grabbing and pulling forward the slider. But on Chrome it's a no-go. If I try this it simply stalls, freezes or completely reverts to the beginning of the podcast. Any ideas?

Have you tried re-installing QuickTime Player?

No. In truth, that hadn't occurred to me. I'll take a look at doing this.
