add "date created" to file identification

Postby Sailor » Thu 29 Jan, 2009 8:42 pm

After opening a folder in Explore in Windows Vista we see above the file names, the words "Name", "Date Modified", "Type", "Size", "Tags".
I want to add the words "Date Created" above the file names anytime I open a file. Have been unable to dig up the instructions to do that. Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you.

Right-click on the bar containing "Name", "Date Modified", and so forth, then hit More. In the resulting dialog, scroll down to "Date Created" and select the checkbox, then hit OK.

If you want the new settings to be carried over across all folders, in the same window with the Date Created field showing, you can go to Tools -> Folder Options -> View, and then hit the button titled "Apply to Folders".
