This past Winter (actually, Winter doesn't end here unitl March 22), was brutal here in the remote outpost called New England. Literally once a week, we received significant amounts of snowfall, the snowfall height in the front yard eventually reached four feet in height. It was so cold, the previous fallen snow simply could not melt and it just piled up everywhere. Some of the snow from the first major snowfall which was the day after this past Christmas, is still on the ground and here we are, into the first week of March...

Summer cannot come fast enough!

Unexpected snow in central west of NSW and snowing resort areas.



Although the amount is still 'pathetically thin' in Don's Boston standard, everybody (kids and adults as well) are all excited . Like I said, here, we don't complain about snow.

Also thanks God that Australia is not the United States of America - well known for its suing culture: no suing resulted from being hit by snowballs has been reported here.
