Hi

I used another application called "Surf Secret" to clear my history, last browsed sites and cookies etc. After running it once, the following errors occured when I tried to start Netscape and i also keep being asked for my profile and email details at each start up. Help, keeps reemerging after several uninstalls and re-installs.

You will need a new profile to solve it.
Well, I don't know what programme is, but you can simply delete your history, temporary files, location bar list from Preference. It will work.

Netscape is NOT IE, it won't secrectly record your surfings even clearing your temp files, unlike MSIE.

Two comments: 1. Why was the original post and your reply, twice the width which normally wraps for me. I have seen it only a couple of times.
2. to make things even more convenient, the Prefbar will place the necessary buttons which remove whatever you wish on exiting. "Surf Secret" seems to be doing more than requested. Anyway uninstall and reinstalls of Netscape accomplish nothing, in such cases.
