I then shut the sidebar, shut down Mozilla and restarted it. The sidebar was still hidden from last time, which is the correct behaviour. This should work . . . I also tried this same solution on the DJGM-I NS 7.01 distro, and the sidebar remained hidden until it was shown again, even after shutting the browser down. Go into the Preferences in Navigator and make sure that the sidebar isn't set to open when there are search results avaliable. If that doesn't work, then hopefully someone else will ahve the answer.
With Netscape 7.0 (Mozilla/5.0) does not work in that way. I have the same problem. I am working on Unix version.
