Of course it does, all standard Mac keyboards have had power buttons for ages. But the Mac standard mouse is horrible - one button. I'm glad they can take other mice . . . !

The Mac mouse takes a bit of getting used to, but PC mice always feel very strange after you've been using one for a week or so.

My iMac has a Logitech USB Pilot Scroll Wheel Mouse, and it works a treat on Mac OS X . . . !

If I'm using a Mac, I tend to bring my Microsoft Intelli Mouse Explorer with me, incase they have one of the one button mice.

In Macintosh, the simple button mouse is so easy to use, all you need is some modifier keys and a little bit of training.

I can't see the needs to use a 5+ buttons giant mouse in Macs.

Well, if you are stuck with a one button mouse, you have to waste time using keyboad commands and learning those keyboard, rather than just using another button on your mouse.

The latest Microsoft and Logitech mice look very stylish, certainly not ugly.

Why is it more difficult to press control+click instead of right-click? To be honest, I think it's easier for end-users to remember to press control+click to save images etc. than it is for them to keep worrying about which button on their mouse they need to press.

Waste time? What?
You don't need to use both hands to handle the mouse, right?
With another hand placed in its default location (keyboard), the single mouse works just right.

Also this called context click where rest of the world call it right click. How about left-handed?
The single button looks good on both sides of the keyboard, and works well with both hands. You don't need to programme and train your multiple fingers to work with the 5+ buttons mouse.

Even if an end user did find using a keyboard and mouse to do what you can usually do with one, they still have no scroll wheel, which has been around 5+ years thanks to Microsoft innovation.

Ed, that is one snazzy looking mouse

I personally want this keyboard and mouse set.

I bought a Microsoft Intellimouse a few years ago. Never again! The damn
thing cost me over UKÂ£15, and quit working properly after about 3 weeks!
It just will not guide the mouse pointer left or right, only up and down.

After that, I vowed to NEVER to buy another Microsoft peripheral again!
