Is there a way to make the new tab option first on the list in 7.1?

I tried 7.1 but didn't like the fact that the new tab option which I use a lot is 2nd in the dropdown list versus 1st in 7.01 which I use now.
Is there a way to make the new tab option first on the list in 7.1?
