Your Favorite Computer Games?

Postby Ron Williams » Sun 10 Oct, 2004 10:38 pm

I have many computer games and after thinking and going through my fifty to seventy-five games I decided that my favorite game is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004.

You might call me old-fashioned, but I have a copy of DOOM 1 that I still play. Now if only I could find a copy of this...

Of course, there's that and whatever's included on Robin.

I love Sonic the Hedgehog, from good old Sega!

Although I also enjoy Simpson games like Road Rage and Hit & Run.

On my computer I have quite a few games installed like RC Racing, Cool Pool and believe it or not I also enjoy playing LEGO games like LEGO Island 2: The Brickster's Revenge and LEGO Racers 2.

I am also about to buy Worms 3D (also from good old Sega)! 8-)

Hey Danny_G Those monsters look like commander keen episode 4 or later. For anyone who has not played commander keen it is an old sidescrolling dos game. Its fun and free.

The Commander Keen games were released as shareware. Commander Keen 4 was free to distribute, while Keen 5 was not. There was also a sixth episode in the series entitled "Aliens Ate My Babysitter;" unfortunately it was discontinued a long time ago. The games were quite fun and satisfying to play, and were among the earlier games implementing sound and music that utilized a sound card.

I don't play computer games that often anymore, but some of my favorites include the earlier games released in the first-person shooter genre, such as Doom, Rise of the Triad, and Duke Nukem 3D.

My favroite game on the computer is SimCity 2000. I hardly play this game anymore because of a lack of time, but if I do have the time to play, I will.
