I had stumbled into TB0.9 about half an ago, while searching for, possibly, a new mozilla.
TB0.9 is ok. The Message Grouping feature is a bit funky. Will have to lot at it again.

Is there any particular reason why the MacOS version of the browser is called Camino, instead of Firefox?

Camino and Firefox are two entirely different applications. Firefox is written in cross-platform XUL code, while Camino is a Cocoa-based appliacation running Gecko as its core. It's similar to the differnce between Firefox and K-Meleon or Firefox and Galeon.

Camino is like Firefox but only more Aqua-ish. Firefox is still available for download

Those steps seem a bit complicated.
