Had a mbd crash.
So!, for system cleanup, I retrieved essential data from C: drive; including '*.mab' files. There were no *.LDIF to work with.
I followed SillyDog' guidance for 'corrupted addressbooks'. Thanks to whoever documented that advice. 'That' worked quite well except for one solvable problem.
Heres the problem
I had had a number of mail lists within the addressbooks and ('none' survived) were unpopulated & had 'bare' icons for the lists that did show up.
Obviously, the lists can be manually reconstituted since there are, only, about 10-20, but I'd rather re-try to retrieve them.
Any thoughts?
Thanks for all this good stuff,
Shortsy
BTW My three systems are Win98SE systems with one portable drive which is a superb asset.
