I have no idea, but this could also be the changes in AOL Music webpage coding. This is a good news in my opinion.DiscoFever wrote:were changes made recently to firefox?...It wouldn't play the AOL music videos without the Active X plugin for firefox a couple of weeks ago. Now I can play them with no problem. The same is true for Mozilla suite. But not so for Opera. I have not downloaded any plugins or active X components.

I haven't tried that page with Netscape 8, but with Safari, it works fine.Ginkan wrote:but my ns8 still can't run http://us.video.netscape.com/ properly either in ff & ie..

I had to manually copy the npunagi2.dll and
npunagi2.xpt files to the Plugins folder. Once that was done then the AOL songs would play.

I just tested the link with Netscape 8, it works perfectly. It turns to MSIE (engine) automatically. I have all three players installed (QuickTime Player, Real Player and Windows Media Player).Ginkan wrote:but my ns8 still can't run http://us.video.netscape.com/ properly either in ff & ie..

Fulvio wrote:It did not bother me, before, but it does now, when I got the same response even after allowing unrequested popup. In 8.0.3.3 , it was trying to open in IE, with no success. Still nothing in 1.4.1.

By the way, speaking of Firefox 1.4.1, I got my first substantial update today (331kb). The other partials, up until today, were all tiny 5kb or so UA updates like I mentioned in the other thread.
No problem. You can mention it, but I will not do anything about it.I won't mention anything more about AOL Music, then, at least for now Smile
Because it can! Can't guess why Fx 1.4.1 isn't working for you but works for me.

Fullvio wrote:I have not gotten any update since I downloaded the entire .zip files. The last one I got, you should see as 10-10. There are no updates.
I don't expect large update every day, but I don't understand what's going on.
