Three letters to best describe that article . . . F U D . . .

It's a typical FUD filled article bashing Gmail, just because it's a service offered by a big company.

The only people who'd have such issues with alleged Gmail privacy violations, are those might
have something to hide. I use a Gmail account as my main e-mail address for all my personal
e-mails, while I use my sillydog.org e-mail account for all other important e-mails.

(I use a HoTMaiL account for when I fill in an online form that asks for an e-mail address.)

Windows Internet Explorer = Old Swiss Cheese: Full of holes, and it stinks!

Most likely... but... did you read the entire article? Do you suppose there is some truth in it?

I understand that people who have something to hide would perhaps have issues... but what about privacy... what about profiles that are created from this incredible data base and then sold to whomever? I'm not sure I particularly like that idea. Fortunately I never invested much into Google G-mail and it may be just as well. On the other hand, you could (and most likely are) be right. :?

Indeed . . . Google bashers, Apple bashers, Microsoft bashers . . . etc . . .

Any major multinational commercial organization will have it's bashers, not only tech ones.

Even the big retailers, such as Wal-Mart, get bashed for being big and successful . . .

Not just commercial organisations, but also some websites ;-)
And, not just bashers, also people are trying to make a fortune by suing big (and small) companies. This suing culture is more noticeable in America. And you can blame those people for all the unnecessary sings such as "Warning: hot water may be hot" in nursing homes.

Walmart is just horrible. There cheep, but that comes at a price. Rubbermaid used to be huge, but they refused to lower there price and walmart quit buying from them for years, then when they started buying again rubbermaid was near bankrupcy.

Walmart also encourages the use of outsourcing that is leaching from our economy.

Okay! I'm convinced. Mea culpa.
