Apple iTunes MiniStore update

Postby Antony » Thu 19 Jan, 2006 12:57 am

With the release of iTunes 6.0.2 a new feature has been included rather surprisingly - a MiniStore, built right into the iTunes. However many users voiced concern over the possibility that Apple was collecting information without their consent, and Apple addressed this.

Some Apple bashers use this opportunity to call iTunes "SpyTunes", the fact such situation has been addressed.

The screenshot of iTunes MiniStore now asks users to enable it if they wish.

It's a nice example that Apple do listen to customers.

Well done Apple.

It is very good that Apple has now clearly defined what it is doing, and give the user easy access to turn this ministore on and off easily.
