I never had the problem, but from the link, I see reports of possible association with the Anti Spyware. That "feature" is awful. I had to uninstall NS8.1, once, to make it work at all, and, after I did full scans, it came up with "problems" which were not seen by any other anti spyware.
It is possible that the NS8.1 is better than all the others, but the simple fact that it throws some names with no description, and location is very poor. I left a Feedback, saying that they should work on the antiSpyware, or make it an optional installation. Since I have not seen problems if I don't use AS, don't use it. NS8.1 is usable, if you ignore AS.
I have the Microsoft AS beta, Adware, Spybot S & D and Spyware Blaster. All of them are very informative, and have done well.
