From The Mac Observer,
Shortly after Apple issued its QuickTime 7.1.1 updated aimed at Creative Suite 2 users plagued by problems arising from QuickTime 7.1, Adobe updated its tech support site with new articles. The articles deal with Intel Macs freezing during startup, freezing during an installation, hanging after printing to Adobe PDF Printer, and failing to activate Creative Suite 2.
