New MacPro!

Postby Mandrake » Wed 04 Apr, 2007 9:16 am

Whoa. This thing is huge. Two quad core Xeon processors running at 3Ghz! That's huge performance. For someone that wants the ultimate workstation, this would have to be it. It seems that, for now, Apple is only offering the Quad Core 3Ghz. It would be nice to see some other choices too, perhaps the quad core 2.33 and 2.66Ghz models.

that is the very system i toy with in my college's Digital Effects and Animation studio.

and you know what i think?

using that system for Effects and Animation: pure overkill. My Macbook is enough for that :p
