In a press release, Apple announced that it has sold its one millionth iPhone on 9th September 2007. That's just 74 days after its introduction on June 29 (and in the United States only).
In comparison, Apple took two years to sell 1 millionth iPod; Sony took 8 months to sell 1 million Play Station 3's in Japan.
Congratulation to Apple.
