Flock had been my default browser. The new installation removed the old one, and it used the former profile (otherwise known as "migration"). I can't say that the general theme is pretty, actually, sort of pucky. For all this effort, Flock was kicked up one notch from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3.

That is one ugly theme! Yuck! As for the social component, I'm completely disinterested (as I was in NN 9). I'll stick with FF and Opera.

I, also, don't care for the social components. But, there are a few features of Flock which makes it special. In first place, I am using three different builds of Firefox, and, at times, in spite of selecting the different profile, I am having problems. Flock and Firefox can coexist, i.e. they can be opened at the same time, but this is not true of the Firefoxes.
In spite of the "theme", I can useFlock as I like to.

Eco-Flock

Postby aleksod » Wed 30 Apr, 2008 6:38 pm

Even though I do not use the social websites often, I do have accounts on, Facebook and the like. Since I do not visit the web site, I rely on Flock to let me know of any updates. So, in a sense, I use the social browser, but at the same time I do not spend time browsing the social web sites. And this is the power of Flock, in my case.
