Awkward loading email with Mac Tbird 3.0 RC 1

Postby Anonymosity » Mon 16 Nov, 2009 2:44 pm

I just started using TB 3.0 RC1 on Mac OS, and I have it set to receive only email headers at first. The email messages are not loading into the window after I click the link to load the body. I have to close the window with the link and go back and double click the message again to get the body. Why is this? Is there any setting I can use to get the body to load into the same window?

Could you please tell us what version of OS 10 you are using.
Also, since this is only a RC, it might not be possible, but I don't know.

I am using Tiger, version 10.4.11. A release candidate is pretty close to the final release.

Okay,

I'm not sure how to approach this to be honest. I don't know that much about thunderbird, but since this is an RC this may be a bug in need of reporting.

In the meantime, I discovered that the message would appear in the window if I clicked the Next button after clicking the link, so I guess that is a reasonable workaround. I have heard that there is a RC2 going to come out soon, so maybe that will be fixed, who knows.
