Currently a toasty 2°C (36°F) here. This is very nice compared to the brutal cold we had here about a week or two ago.

After the scorching weather here in Perth we've had weather in the high 20s and low 30s. Getting to a rather warm 36C on Saturday but then we're back to the low 30s and high 20s on Sunday and throughout next week.

Supposed to get a heavy dump of snow Friday night into Saturday. Some forecasts estimate 10-12 inches (25-30 cm).

Currently, the XFCE weather plugin displays 27 degrees (F) here. Not too bad for 9:45 PM.

It's nice until you have to move it.
Or until it throws you off the road.
Cancels your school activities,
Collapses your roof.
Barricades your door.
Kills you from carbon monoxide poisoning when it blocks your furnace exhaust.

It's nice, until it's not nice.

I guess you guys haven't really experienced the hot and sweaty summer.

It's not just a bit high temperature, the high humidity makes people feel very uncomfortable. People get sweaty and sticky easily, even just walking inside the house. Hot temperature also means annoying (and blood sucking) insects are extremely active.

Antony, have you ever had frostbite? I'd take a sunburn and some sweat any day over frostbite.
