Netscape 8 extensions?

Netscape 8 extensions?

I see that extensions are installable in Netscape 8, but can't find any that work. Google search turned up only stuff from the year 2000. Is this a case of complete disinterest by developers?

Not necessarrily. NS8 is a branded program, and only a few extentions have worked in it:1.Roboform
2.Forecastfox
It should be up to the developers of NS8, and they don't care, because they have other things in mind. The developers of the extentions are an entirely different group, unrelated to the Netscape project, farmed out by AOL.

I found this explaining how to make Firefox 1.0.4 extensions work in Netscape 8. Haven't tried it yet.

You have to read the entire thread, because the original post is unclear, if not incorrect. I am satisfied with what I have. Roboform and Forecastfox work without any achrobatics. And, none of the listed extentions are of interest to me.
