You might want to take a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea-Monkey

Sea-Monkey is a type of shrimp.

I am glad they kept the suite going. I never cared for them quiting development on mozilla. I know some like fire fox but a suite will always be what some want as well.

I don't think that it is much of a bug. so, don't save the passwords. I don't like to be asked for passwords, if I have selected to save them ( not in SM).
As for the logo, if you look closely, on expanded picture, you will see that it does not look like a feather. It may look like a bird, though.
I don't know what a seamonkey looks like, but you can decide for yourself.
At the early stage it sure looks like a feather!

Sorry, I did not see that there was page 2.

I fully agree. Dating back to the Netscape 3.x days I had always preferred the suite because it's always been so convenient for me to have an email client bundled with my default browser. I was disappointed some time ago to learn that the work on the Mozilla Suite was going to be drawing to a close so I have spent the last year becoming acclamated to using Firefox browser and Tbird email client; both of which take their time to load as individual programs. To see that continued work/maintenance/building is being continued with Mozilla Seamonkey was a refreshing find and I'm back to using this marvelous suite once again - everything loads instantaneously and is readily available.
Keep up the good work! Thanks!

Methinks it's time this thread was downgraded from "Announcement" to normal status . . .

SeaMonkey = Swiss Army Knife: It's versatile, reliable, and contains useful tools.
Windows Internet Explorer = Old Swiss Cheese: Full of holes, and it stinks!
