just installed 8.1 - whenever I type a URL into the address bar - a history of ULR's from years ago appear on the drop-down.

The history has been deleted, history.dat has been renamed, the system has been rebooted and I have cleared every feature e.g history, Cache upon exit etc.

Any help? I t appears to be held in a file I am unable to locate.

It is interesting that I don't have anything in the dropdown.
I have set to save Page History for one day, beside being checked to remove on exit. How and where did you get the profile from? You should not have anything for one year ago!
