Camino 1.0 (final) released

Postby Antony » Tue 14 Feb, 2006 11:05 am

The Camino Project (CaminoBrowser.org) has released Camino 1.0 (final), after over a year of hard work by devoted volunteers. This latest version fixes hundreds of bugs and implements many new features, providing all users with an improved browsing experience.

Camino 1.0 brings a heavily-updated version of the only native Mac OS X browser using Mozilla’s Gecko rendering engine. Thousands of bugs were fixed in Gecko 1.8, providing users with improved web page compatibility.

Camino 1.0 is similar to Camino 1.0 Release Candidate 1 (RC 1), which was released on 4 February, 2006.

[*]Moving backward and forward through history is now “blazingly fastâ€
