Using your link [in your last post] I made a shortcut to my "Netscape Mail", which is now on my desktop. This makes going through IE for e-mail unnecessary. For that assistance I salute you. I am very grateful!
Here is my next question...
Below is the link that I am on when Netscape Webmail comes up:
Netscape Webmail link
- Code: Select all
https://my.screenname.aol.com/_cqr/login/login.psp?
mcState=initialized&seamless=novl&sitedomain=
sns.mail.netscape.com&lang=en&locale=us&authLev=2&siteState=
ver%3a1%252c0%26ld%3am02.mail.netscape.com%26rp%3amail
%252fmessagelist.aspx%26pv%3aNC%26lc%3aen-us
Once you "login", in the lower lefthand corner there is an icon, just above the "START" button, second from the left. If you move your cursor onto it, it will display "mail & newsgroups".
Click on that icon and a page is displayed. The left-hand panel is for your Webmail and below that is for your newsgroup listings. The right-hand part of the page is divided into two; a top panel and a bottom panel. The center bar dividing the top from the bottom half should read: "Welcome to Seamonkey Mail & Newsgroups" Do you see that?
The top is for the message you are reading and the bottom is for your reply, or some variation thereof. This is almost identical to what I had in my Netscape 7.2 set up. it was very convenient, expedient and I miss it!
Is it possible for me to receive BOTH my Netscape Webmail AND set up a newsgroup account and have them both displayed on this page?
If so, how do I accomplish that, if you please?
BTW, I will soon turn 64, so I will attempt to aspire to your abilities; to "noodle out" all of this technology, insofar as is possible for me, currently!
Thank you so much for your help, Fulvio!
Alain
