MS Virtual Machine

i am trying this thing but when I start it it says cannot find any HDs on my PC

Looked in Help and just cannot get it to work.

Any help fo a newbee will be appreciated,

Are you referring to Microsoft Virtual PC? I think what you're referring to is you're trying to get it to recognise
the physical hard drives inside your PC. Virtual PC doesn't work that way. You need to create a virtual hard
drive image file (.vhd) and set the virtual machine to use that as the drive the guest OS installs to.

From the main Virtual PC window, select Virtual Disk Wizard from the File menu, and follow the prompts to
create a new vhd file. Depending on the guest OS you're planning to install, you'll need to set aside a
anything from a few hundred megabytes to a few gigabytes of disk space on your physical HDD.

Or, (assume it's similar to Mac version), you can share your folders. Please refer to Virtual PC 2004's help document.
