pro tools

Postby musikero » Wed 05 Apr, 2006 9:40 am

i'v recently purchaed a digi002, i have a mac; v. 10.4.5; 2 ghz intel core duo.

I loaded the pro tools LE 6.9, it works alright, but stops short when i open a new session...it says "not a valid audio volume"

I tried everything...from the instructions from the basic guide to Thom Loftus' instructions from "DIGIZINE" to downloading the upgrade.....but still i cant get it to make a new session. :?

by the way, the upgrade does not work too...after rebooting, clicking the icon....my screen turns black and tells me to "shut down"

Can anybody out there help me

God bless you more!

If you recently purchased your DIGI 002 hold onto your receipt and get Pro Tools 7.0. You are entitled to it, so contact Digidesign.

If you purchassed it used then you are going to have to get Pro Tools 7 upgrade. PT 6.9 does not play nice with that version of Tiger Tiger.

Pro tools

I have pro tools 7.0. it came in with the package. but it also does not work. After installing it, clicked it.....then my screen turns "semi black" and tells me to shut it down.

Should I upgrade the 7.0? I recently came across a 7.1 download, is that it?

Help please! :(

Wait I just noticed something on your post I didn't catch the first time. You have an Intel Duo Core. Digidesign hasn't released their Mac Intel compatible version of Pro Tools yet. That's the problem.

I believe Digidesign said May. That's when there would be an Intel Compatible version of Pro Tools.
