Prayer to Apple

Postby Pu7o » Thu 13 Oct, 2005 9:14 am

Since Antony obviously worships Apple and Apple products, I modified the Christian prayer to suit Apple worshiping.

Pu7o wrote:Our Apple, who art in heaven
hallowed be thy Name,
thy macintosh come,
thy will be done,
on Intel as it is in PPC.
Sell us this day our daily songs
And forgive us our use of PCs,
but we won't forgive those
who bash us.
And lead us not into Virtual PC,
but deliver us from Windows.
For thine is the Mac,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.

Ok, next time i'll make a dishwasher prayer!

That might be a joke to you, but I find it quite offending. I don't mean to cause a flame war, but it's rude to take something like this and make it so ignorant. This is just like spray painting a billboard to be funny, only using words and a larger audience to offend.

Sorry if you found that annoying Ron. I never meant to offend anyone, just laugh a bit at the fact that Antony "worships" Apple products.

EDIT: By the way, never mind this weird useragent, it's just that I've been playing with the about:config preferences and forgot to remove the appName and appVersion properties.

I found Pu7o's "pray" very interesting, and perfectly fine, with no offence to any party at all. He wrote it careful, although it was clearing borrowed from somewhere else. In my opinion, it is very sad that some people can't take any jokes.

I did not say I could not take a joke, but I found it rude and offending. It's not like I am going to have another grudge toward anyone like I did towards you over a single post that I find rude. Pu7o makes good posts about other things in my opinion, so I should not. But, voicing my opinion in a non-rude way is quite fine.

I said that Pu7o's post was very funning, and not offensive in my opinion.

I could hardly believe such post offends any people.

Will you cut it out, both of you? I created this thread to make people laugh, not for Ron and Antony to argue.

Hey Pedro I almost became a Catholic Priest and I thought it was hysterical. I use Mac. Still found it funny.
