The company increased processor speeds on 15-inch MacBook Pro. The entry level of MacBook Pro (15-inch) is now 2.0 GHz (up from 1.83 GHz) and stays at same US$1999 price tag. The $2,499 model now includes a 2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo processor, up from 2.0 GHz. The price for 17-inch MacBook Pro (2.16GHz) remains at US$2799.
Both 15-inch and 17-inch models can now have the new Glossy Widescreen Display (as configured to order) at no extra cost.
